Refund and Cancellation Policy
Beta version. In effect from 1 October 2026. We will email parents before we make any material change to it.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how subscriptions to Radlic are billed, how they renew, how you cancel, and when you can get a refund. It forms part of our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between this policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.
2. Our plans
We offer two subscription plans:
| Plan | Price | Billing period | Renews |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $7.99 for the first child, $4.99 for each additional child (up to 4 children) | Every month | Automatically, every month |
| Annual | $75.99 for the first child, $48.00 for each additional child (up to 4 children) | Every 12 months | Automatically, every 12 months |
Prices are in US dollars. We do not currently charge sales tax: the price shown is the price you pay. If the law of your state ever requires us to charge it, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
Starting free. Before you subscribe, you can choose two topics — two topics from one module, or two stories for kindergarten to grade 2 — and your children can use them free, for as long as you like. We do not ask for payment details for this, and nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe. Your two free topics are chosen once and cannot be changed. This is not a trial that turns into a paid plan: nothing renews or is charged automatically at the end of it.
Adding a child to your plan
Each child on a subscription uses one seat, and a plan covers at most 4 children. If every seat on your plan is in use, you can add a seat in the app when you add a child. Before you confirm, we show your plan's price for each billing period now and with the extra seat. When you confirm, we charge your payment method on file straight away for the rest of the current billing period only — a prorated amount calculated by our payment provider — and from your next renewal the new total applies. If your bank asks you to approve the payment, the seat is added only after you approve it; if you do not, nothing is charged and nothing changes.
3. Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically. When you subscribe, you are agreeing to an ongoing subscription that continues until you cancel it.
- Your payment method is charged on the day you subscribe, and then on the same day of each subsequent billing period.
- The renewal amount is the price shown in the table above for the number of children on your plan, unless we have notified you of a price change in advance as described in Section 6.
- We will send you a reminder email before each annual renewal, at least 30 days before the renewal date.
- You can cancel at any time before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
We will send you an acknowledgement after you subscribe that sets out the terms of your subscription, the cancellation policy, and how to cancel. You can retain that acknowledgement for your records.
4. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time, and cancelling is designed to take the same number of steps as subscribing.
Online, in the app: sign in, open Account → Plan & billing → See plans, choose Cancel subscription under Your subscription, then Yes, cancel my subscription. The screen then shows the date your plan ends, and we email you a confirmation with that date.
By email: Write to support@radlor.com. We will action the cancellation within 2 business days of receipt and confirm by email.
By post: 254 Chapman Rd, Ste 208 #28608, Newark, DE 19702.
You do not need to call us, chat with an agent, or explain why you are cancelling in order to cancel.
What happens when you cancel
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- You will not be charged again.
- Cancelling does not by itself issue a refund; refunds are covered in Section 5.
- After the period ends, your subscription ends. Your account and your child's profiles stay open unless you close your account.
- Your child's learning data is handled as described in Section 8.
5. Refunds
Satisfaction window — 14 days. (Stance adopted by Radlor Inc. on 22 September 2026: a satisfaction window rather than a no-refund default. The attorney should confirm it against the laws of the states where customers are located, and against app-store rules if the product is ever distributed through them.)
If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment on a new subscription. Renewal payments are refundable within 14 days of the renewal charge if the account has not been used since that charge. Request a refund by emailing support@radlor.com from the email address on the account. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.
You are also a resident of a state whose law may give you a cancellation or refund right that goes beyond this policy. Where it does, the law applies.
Circumstances in which we will always refund
In every case: - Withdrawal of parental consent. If you withdraw your permission for us to collect your children's information, write to support@radlor.com and we will cancel your subscription and refund the unused part of it, calculated from the date we action your request to the end of the period you have paid for. You are never charged for exercising a privacy right. - Duplicate charges are refunded in full. - Charges after a valid cancellation are refunded in full. - Unauthorised charges made by a child — if a child completed a purchase without your permission, contact us at support@radlor.com and we will refund it in full. We will not ask you to justify the request.
6. Price changes
If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and the email will say clearly what the new price is, when it starts, and how to cancel if you do not want to continue. A price change never applies to a billing period you have already paid for.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we will try again over the following 7 days and email you. If payment still fails, your subscription is paused — your account stays open, but your children can use only your two free topics (if you chose them) until payment succeeds or you cancel.
8. Your child's data after cancellation
Cancelling your subscription is not the same as deleting your child's data. If you want your child's information deleted, you can ask us at any time — see our Privacy Policy and our Parent Rights page for how to make that request. If you do not ask, we retain your child's information for the period described in our Data Retention Policy and then delete it.
