Terms of Service

Beta version. In effect from 1 October 2026. We will email parents before we make any material change to it.

1. This agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Radlor Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Radlor", "we", "us"). They govern your use of Radlic (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who may hold an account

You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of any child you set up. You are the account holder. You are the only party to this agreement.

A child does not hold an account. A child uses a profile inside your account, under your supervision. You are responsible for your child's use of the Service, for keeping your login details private, and for anything done through your account.

You confirm that the information you give us at sign-up is accurate, and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. What the Service is

Radlic is an adaptive learning tool. It presents lessons, questions and practice, adapts to how a child answers, and reports progress to you.

It is an educational support tool and nothing more. It is not schooling, not tutoring by a licensed professional, and not any form of assessment, diagnosis or treatment — educational, psychological or medical. It does not identify learning disabilities or any other condition. If you have a concern about your child's learning, speak to a teacher or a qualified professional.

We do not promise any particular result. Learning outcomes differ from child to child. We make no guarantee of grade improvement, mastery, test performance or academic progress.

4. Children and parental consent

Because the Service is used by children, additional rules apply:

  • Before we collect anything about your children, we give you a direct notice telling you exactly what we collect, and we obtain your verifiable consent. You give it once, for your account, and it covers every child you add to it. Each time you add a child, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, and we record when you did.
  • We keep a record of that consent — the date, how it was given, your email address, and the version of each document you were shown. We keep it so that we can show, later, exactly what you agreed to. If you close your account, that record is kept, marked as withdrawn and no longer linked to your account, so that we can still show that consent was given and when it ended. Everything else is deleted.
  • You can see, correct or delete your child's information, or withdraw your consent, at any time and for free. See our Parent Rights page.
  • You can withdraw consent for one child or for every child on the account. For one child, we stop collecting, delete what we hold about that child, and close their profile; this applies only to that child, and the account and any other children are not affected. For every child, we do the same for each of them; your account stays open, and adding a child later needs your consent again. You are never charged for exercising a privacy right.

Our Privacy Policy describes all of this in full and forms part of these Terms.

5. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

  • Starting free. Before you subscribe, you can choose two topics (two from one module, or two stories for kindergarten to grade 2) that your children can use free, with no payment details and no automatic charge. They are chosen once and cannot be changed.
  • Plans, prices and billing periods are shown before you pay. One subscription covers up to four children, one seat each.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. The renewal amount and date are disclosed to you before you subscribe and repeated in the confirmation email we send you.
  • Adding a child. If every seat is in use, you can add a seat in the app. We show the new price before you confirm, charge the prorated difference for the current period straight away, and the new total from your next renewal.
  • You can cancel at any time, online, in the same number of steps it took to subscribe: in the app, under Account → Plan & billing. Cancelling stops all future charges; your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and we email you a confirmation with that date.
  • Refunds, price changes, failed payments and the full cancellation mechanics are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
  • Prices are in US dollars and are what you pay: we do not currently charge sales tax. If we ever must in your state, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to let anyone else:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
  • copy, scrape, resell, sublicense or redistribute the content or the questions;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the models, algorithms or source code;
  • share your account credentials, or use the Service on behalf of anyone other than your own household; one subscription covers up to four children;
  • upload anything unlawful, harmful or infringing;
  • interfere with, overload or probe the Service or its security;
  • use automated means to access the Service except as we expressly permit;
  • misrepresent what the Service does — for example, in advertising or resale.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

7. Content and intellectual property

Ours. The Service, and everything in it — lessons, questions, diagrams, audio, software, models and design — belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own household's non-commercial educational use while you have an account (beyond your two free topics, while your subscription is active).

We do not claim copyright in any part of the Service beyond what the law gives us; your use is governed by this licence and by these Terms.

Yours. Anything your child submits — answers, work, and anything else you or your child puts into the Service — stays yours ("User Content"). You grant us the licence we need to operate the Service for you: to store it, display it back to you and your child, and process it so the Service can adapt and report progress. That licence ends when the content is deleted.

Model training. We do not use User Content — including your child's work — to train, develop or evaluate artificial-intelligence models, and we do not provide it to anyone else for that purpose. We use it only to run the Service for you, as described above.

Feedback. If you send us a suggestion, we may use it freely and without obligation to you.

8. Artificial intelligence: what it can and cannot do

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to adapt what a child sees and to generate or select content. You should understand:

  • AI systems are probabilistic. They can produce content that is wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable, even when everything is working as designed.
  • We check content before it reaches a child: lessons and practice questions are written before release, not generated while your child uses the Service; every answer is checked by an independent automated solver and by automated tests; and not every lesson has yet been read by a person. We cannot guarantee that every item is correct or appropriate.
  • The Service gives no professional advice of any kind.
  • If you see something wrong, please tell us at support@radlor.com — this genuinely helps.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change you do not want, you can stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

We may perform maintenance, and we may suspend the Service where necessary for security.

10. Ending this agreement

You may cancel your subscription or close your account at any time.

We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering the Service. Except where a breach makes it inappropriate, we will give you reasonable notice, and if we close your account other than for breach we will refund the unused part of what you have paid.

When an account closes, your child's information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Retention Policy. Sections 7, 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL MEET ANY PARTICULAR LEARNING GOAL.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RADLOR AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$100.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED, INCLUDING FOR FRAUD OR FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of someone else's rights. This does not apply to anything caused by us.

14. Copyright complaints

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us:

Radlor Inc., 254 Chapman Rd, Ste 208 #28608, Newark, DE 19702 · support@radlor.com · 1-888-812-9373

15. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the state where you live.

Before starting formal proceedings, we both agree to try to resolve the dispute by contacting each other first — write to support@radlor.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If a dispute is not resolved informally, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and we each consent to that jurisdiction.

16. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
  • Changes. We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new date and, for material changes, email you at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you may close your account. Changes affecting children's information follow the additional rule in the Privacy Policy.
  • Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stands.
  • No waiver. Not enforcing a right once does not waive it.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your account. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger or sale, subject to the Privacy Policy.
  • Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something genuinely outside our control.
